What are the stages of grief? Are there like 7 or something?

Generally thought to be 5:
Shock
Denial
Anger/Guilt
Depression
Acceptance

These stages may overlap or run in a different sequence. Each stage is thought to last a few months longer than the previous, with shock and denial overcome in 2 months and depression less than 12 months.
